Medical volunteering
abroad: a program that changes lives
The
world has been witnessing a rocketing advancement in the field of medicine.
These advancements have forever been proven life saving and an elixir to the
sufferers, but on the dark side there are several countries and places in the
world which are still deficient of even fundamental medical needs. On one side,
people go through several tests for even a minor disease, to ensure the best
cure, but on the other side, there are places where even the parturition of
females is not supervised by doctors.
Due
to these deficiencies many females lose their lives.
Keeping
all these complications in mind, ABV (A Broader View Volunteer) has initiated
an effort in the way of providing all these backward places with medical
facilities, done under certain medical missions, undertaken by volunteers for medical
volunteering abroad.
What
is ABV?
ABV
is a US based nonprofit charitable organization that was founded in 2007, based
in Pennsylvania. The motif of the organization is to help others and spread
humanity in the mean world.
The
projects of the organization include orphanage work, child care, community
development, day care, teaching and much more. This offers the travelers to
travel different countries and perform noble deeds.
The
goal of the organization is to provide care to each and every one in the world
irrespective of what religion and caste do they belong to. Medical volunteer
abroad allows development of a better communication between all the
participating countries, to expand their limits.
So
far, ABV has sent thousands of volunteers to over 245 projects in around 25
countries. And the best part about these medical missions and medical
internships in different countries allows the volunteer doctors and nurses to
know more and enhance their knowledge of different state of living in different
regions as well as the ailments linked to them. Plus, according to many
volunteers these trips have proven to be the life changing trips for them. Many
have found their motto of life and have tasted the real taste of happiness.
