Various types of tableware available

Tableware is something used for setting the table. These may be used for decorating your table. They can include glassware, cattery, tablecloth, serving dishes and many others. The type of tableware you use or the way you use them will depend on your culture, religion, some dishes or occasion. These can also be called as dinner wear. If you invite guests at home for dinner, then the way you set your table says it all. It will create a great impression on guests.

Types of tableware:

•        Serveware: It is anything that is used for serving the purpose. They may include serving bowls, dessert bowls, soup pots, tea cups, etc. that are usually kept on a dining table.Glasses, tongs, serving spoons also fall in this category.

•        Dinnerware: Dinnerware is used in individual serve portions. They can be your plate and bowl. It can include many other dishes as per the occasion. These are also known as chinaware or crockery and may be made up of ceramic. Use of ceramic will depend on your style. One can arrange the dinnerware as per the meal served.

•        Flatware: These also come under tableware. They may include spoons, knives, and forks. They are also known as silverware. They come in different sizes.

•        Drinkware:Tableware is always incomplete without drink ware. These contain cups, glasses, mugs or tumblers. These are most essential as they are used for serving soups and water.

•        Glassware: These are cups made up of glass that are used for serving drinks. There are different types of various beverages. Like: Champagne glasses, Wine glasses, etc. They can be of two types first one that has a steam above the base which holds the glass. Second, that has the flat bottom.

One can get a variety of tableware as per your choice. One can buy according to his budget and taste. These make a meal complete hence they are required.
