Why PGP is the preferred encryption method for Blackberry devices

Why PGP is the preferred encryption method for Blackberry devices
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is one of the most advanced encryption algorithms that have been used for a long time to encrypt email correspondences between encrypted Blackberry devices. There are generally many reasons why PGP is the preferred encryption method for Blackberry devices. First, PGP utilizes public and private keys to encrypt and decrypt email messages. On a pgp encrypted Blackberry device, an email message is first compressed on a Sender’s device and then encrypted using a Session Key before it is sent to the intended recipient. In order for the recipient to read the message, the recipient will first decrypt the message using a private key.
This private key is only known to the recipient and is tied to their device. A recipient can read the compressed message by decrypting the message using a Session Key. PGP then decompresses the email message so that it can be readable to the recipient. The advantage of pgp blackberry is that it is not just safe and secure, but also strong. What this means is that it would be useless to intercept a message encrypted using PGP encryption since the strength of the encryption will not allow a third party to read the encrypted message.
A third party can only use a private key to decrypt the message. This private key is however not available since it is only tied to a recipient’s Blackberry device and is only known to the user. In fact, the private key cannot be used on any other Blackberry device. It is however worth mentioning that just like any other encryption method, the encryption algorithm strength is only strong depending on computing power of present-day technology. As computational power and technology increase, the strength of algorithms for the PGP blackberry encryption keys are increased in order to match. Therefore, PGP encryption still continues to offer a strong and secure way of encrypting email messages.
